Sunday School
Children and youth are welcome to join us on Sunday mornings prior to service for Sunday School. Activities will include studying scripture, activity, and time for prayer. Sunday school begins at 9:45am.
Awana Program
Awana offers a curriculum that reaches kids and their families with the gospel. This proven and adaptable curriculum helps develop leaders and disciples to children in their walk with Christ for their entire life. Children are welcome Kindergarten through 5th grades. The Awana Program runs September through May each school year and goes from 4:00pm to 5:30pm.
Anchored Youth Fellowship
HBC Youth Fellowship offers a chance for youth 6th-12th grades to come together and learn about Jesus and enjoy time together in a safe environment. They meet after school every Wednesday beginning at 3:45pm and continuing until 5:30pm. Every meeting includes prayer time, Bible study, activity, and moment to share. Students learn how to read the Bible verse by verse, how to pray, how to treat others, and important life lessons for their age. Youth is led by Heath and Ginger Turner.
Summer Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School is the highlight of the summer for the children who attend – and they never want it to end! 2023 featured the theme “Shine Jesus’ Light” and the students took part in multiple science experiments that showed how amazing God’s creation is, as well as how Jesus’ light can radiate through each one of them in how they live and act. We look forward to next summer and sharing the Gospel with the children of the community.
